Privacy policy
Last updated 3 November 2026. The short version: the app collects nothing. No account, no adverts, no analytics, no tracking. Your progress stays on your phone.
Who we are
Saftainability Ltd publishes the Life in the UK: Animated app for iPhone and Android. This policy covers the app.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not ask for your name, email or any other personal details. It has no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code that collects data. We cannot see who uses the app or how.
What stays on your device
To remember where you are, the app saves a few things on your phone only:
- which lessons you have finished
- your practice test results and flip card progress
- your settings, such as captions, playback speed and narrator voice
This is never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it. Your phone's own backup may include it, under your Apple or Google account settings.
Internet use
Every lesson, sound file and question is inside the app, so it works without a connection and makes no network requests of its own.
Buying the app
You buy the app through the App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google handle payment under their own privacy policies. We only receive anonymous sales totals from them, never your name or payment details.
Children
The app is made for adults preparing for the Life in the UK test. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
